Before I start my adventure, first I’d like to post a little tribute for New York City, a place I called home for seven years.

It was only when I moved to New York that I finally found a place where I felt that I belonged. See, in Indonesia, as a Chinese Indonesian I was a minority. In Singapore, I was a foreigner with a thick Indonesian accent. In Charlottesville, I wasn’t white and didn’t belong to a sorority. But in New York, everyone comes from everywhere else! Just like me!

I also started my career here, met my better half here, and had the best (and sometimes, most absurd) experiences here. I’m going to miss the city and its energy.
